Illegal Camping Site?Where exactly is this camping site? If it is directly above the lake, it is then in an illegal site.
When camping in the Capitol Lake area, you must camp in the designated sites on the knolls opposite the climbing trail (location maps on wooden signs provided), or in the campfire sites located below the Capitol Lake bench (in the forest).
Never camp in alpine meadows in heavily used areas - you will end up contributing to the destruction of this beautiful environment that we all value dearly.
