Late June of 1994, only those patches of snow poured out some water. From the summit of Mulhacen we glimpsed (from L to R): Caballo (3.011 m / 9,878 ft), Pico del Tajo de los Machos (3.086 m / 10124 ft), Tosal del Cartujo (3.152 m /10,341 ft), Tajos de la Virgen and Veleta.
