Thanx a lot! It's really quite a hassle to draw these maps so I'm glad I found someone who apreciates them ;-) What I forgot to mention on the page: livioz helped out again by scanning the maps from a book - I just redrew (part of) them to avoid any copyright issues.
Thanks, Nelson (nice thumb btw). I have practiced "mapping" for the Sexten Dolomite page (three maps are missing on thet page still) and I had a lot of time last night, staying at a hotel room.......
Thanks a lot! Your pages are just as informative! As you have seen, I would include the maps of the region directly on your pages so that the reader can immediately see what you are talking about....
The Europe guys have really made significant additions to SP, and of course you are leading the way. My SP chores and other obligations make it impossible for me to keep up and visit everyone's page. I just stumbled on this beauty! Excellent job.
Thanks a lot! There are just some "magical" places that I like very much. And I like the idea of being the maintainer of these beautiful "sites" here on SP.
You're a brave man! Creating and maintaining a good group page is far more demanding than a single mountain page. I'm happy how the beautiful Dolomites get fully covered - just a few more subgroups... Cheers, Gangolf!
Thanks Vid! The real bravery would be to do the Marmolada Group page. I'm awed by that group but maybe I'll put it up someday. Got to take courage first.
It's a pleasure to see, how Latemar peaks are covered with your pictures. I thought you will have at least one pic for every summit, which is of course impossible even for you - for now :-)
Cheers!

I'm not finished yet! I had to take a break for lunch :-)
I think I have the northern Group captured quite well but I haven't been to Agnello. So in the southern part there will be only few shots.
For the northern part I will have to add a couple of mountains ;-)
Since I, too, got only outwards glimpses of the Latemar, in the future we could make all together a real deeper knowledge of this fantastic group from within!
Great idea, this page, and timely ! Iplanned to be there the last week-end, if the the refuge Torre di Pisa is not full, as it could be (no more than 18 beds). If it will be, I'll add photos. Ciao

Untitled CommentHey Britt,
you can have only seen two sections. Do you really look at my pages?
Thanks

Untitled CommentGot to agree about the map-hand drawn and quite clear.
I guess it's a bit cooler here than in Sicily.
