Panorama the active front of the July 2007 lava flow and the valley it's travelling down as viewed in early August. Advancing caterpillar track fashion, the front would progressively collapse as the flow moved forward with the sound of clanking metal. Video on front page. Starring A. Miller and Victor, our guide.
