Ledina Pecina ice cave on the...

Ledina Pecina ice cave on the way up Bobotov Kuk in
June 2004. The cave entrance was almost completely
covered by a snow drift except for a small opening into
about a 20 meter internal snow slope which led down
to these ice stalagmites at the bottom. Just enough
light for this 30-second exposure here.

Nice

It's hard to capture something like this!

Re: Nice

Luckily I had a tripod with me. In retrospect I think I should have gotten into the photo to give some sense of scale. It's hard to tell how big those things are. I'd guess that they were about three or four meters tall.

Interesting

I like the textures created in the ice.
