Legendary bridge at Djurdjevica Tara

Legendary bridge over Tara river at Djurdjevica Tara village, is 23km from Zabljak town towards north. You'll see it if coming from Mojkovac direction. If you come to Zabljak from Savnik (south) take a trip to the bridge. Bridge is 366m long. Widest arc is 150m above the emerald Tara river. If your timing is good you'll see tiny rafts in the canyon below. It has been built between 1938-1940m, just before the WWII. Since area of Durmitor was scene of frequent fights and offensives between local Partizans and occupying Nazi's (Italians then Germans) it is miracle that it hasn't been blown up.
