Leviathan Peak | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
The clouds are finally dispersing. In the distance, Jagged Mountain is still enshrouded in clouds. August 2008. Comments[ Post a Comment ] | Diego Sahagún | Good pics your last | |
Voted 10/10 | You were lucky having those low little clouds in between.

Hasn't voted | It was a very mystic morning. We were lucky diring the whole trip - 4 out of the 6 days we had low clouds. | | Posted Oct 21, 2008 5:22 pm |

Hasn't voted | Thank you. Indeed, the picture was taken may be about 1/4 mile south from the base of Peak 7. This was in the morning on my 4th day from my 6-day trek through the Needles and the Grenadier Range (august 2008). I started from Needleton (on the Durango-Silverton narrow gauge) and via Needle Creek, Sunlight Lake, Leviathan Lake, Silex Lake, Trinity Lake, Verde Lake and Whitehead Trail, slowly made my way back to Silverton. It was the ULTIMATE trek through those mountains! | | Posted May 15, 2010 12:00 am |
