Lick Island Run as seen in February 2008. Lick Island is located in Cameron County, Pennsylvania, which is a rural, seldom visited area of the eastern United States. The water hole seen here is very good for swimming in the summertime but, as the picture shows, winter is not the time for jumping into this creek. Photo taken by Sara Jones and used by permission.
