Lightning Bolt Cracks

Starting the lead of pitch 2 of Lightning Bolt Cracks - up a flared chimney and out into a good hand crack through bulge. Shirley is belaying at a semi-hanging belay (they're all semi-hanging on this line). All of the route is visible in the shot if a bit foreshortened. The tower is ~70-75 meters tall on this side. A close-up of the stuffin here (Nov. 21, 2006).
