HomestretchThe photo makes it look worse than it is. The Homestretch is Class 3 scrambling when dry. Wet, snow or glazed in ice would certainly be another matter. Great photo though of climbing conditions.

Re: HomestretchI'll echo Aaron's comments. The Homestretch is not nearly as bad as pictures make it look. I'm an exposure wuss, and I wasn't nearly as freaked out on the Homestretch as I expected I'd be after looking at pictures.

No photo really captures it...Since I took this photo, I'll agree that it makes it look much worse than it is - but it seems that photos of the Homestretch (or anything, really) either make it look simple or insane. That said - it's a fun photo!
