You can easily rappel off the opposum with one rope the the ground. Just traverse to the NE part of the opposum and rap of the 2 new anchor bolts on the N side to the ground.
I guess that is cool, but I usually leave a pack at the base of the climb, and walking all the way around in my climbing shoes does not seem that attractive to me. Good info for those doing the Marsupial traverse though!
