Probably the same issue as with Shane'sphoto which was taken from the same spot in the East end of Ruth lake, but just slightly to the righ. The prominent saddle here is East of Lofty Lake (Topozone).
Mt Marsell is hidden behind Cutthroat Peak.

I had the same mental blockwhen I first followed the nice little rail which connects Ruth Lake with the Lofty Lake Loop up at this saddle. Was surprised where we ended up, although in hindsight, everything is crystal clear on the maps.
BTW the title of the image still says Marsell... Sorry for nitpicking, I guess I simply don't have better things to do with this darn ankle of mine :)

Nitpicking is a good thing. I don't mind it at all since I like all my submissions to be as accurate as possible.
