Long Knife Peak
|[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]|
Looking southeast from a beautiful overlook just east of Carthew-Alderson Pass, the rugged mountain in the distance is Long Knife Peak, which straddles the USA-Canada border just north of the Kintla Lake Valley. Massive Kinnerly Peak is at the extreme left of the photo. The trail leading up and over Carthew-Alderson Pass is incredibly scenic, and the entire 12 mile stretch that connects Cameron Lake to Waterton townsite is undoubtedly one of the best sections of trail in all of Glacier-Wateron International Peace Park.
