Looking back across the sketchy traverse on the Boundary Trail route just before making the south ridge of Mt. Wow (e.g. below the cliffs just west and a bit north of Point 5614). Doesn't look so bad in the photo, but there's a nasty rock run-out behind the trees below-right in the photo. Extending about thirty feet away from the visible snow patch is the worst bit: bits of gravel and loose scree on downward sloping slabs of rock.. It's doable, but a handline might be good to have through here for safety. 5/28/05
