Looking down at the approach to Atlantis Wall from the summit of Broad Dome. At this water level, it is necessary to lower the canoe 50 feet from the crest of the dam to launch into the reservoir. Maintenance trucks on Donnell Dam and, lower, the gorge cut by the Middle Fork of the Stanislaus River are visible. Photo by E. Holland
