Looking East. The main trail for Granite chief starts near the flat area in the middle of the photo and follows the canyon to the left. Part of the Pacific Crest Trail can be seen by the stream in the bottom center of the picture. Part of the ski area is on the right of the picture and Lake Tahoe is in the background.
