Looking north along Apache's...

Looking north along Apache's impressive North Ridge. In the near distance is the broad expanse of Shoshone Peak followed by the rest of the northern IPW. Audubon is the gentle lump on the horizon right of center. Longs and Meeker can be seen left of center in the distance. The valley on the left is southeastern arm of Lone Eagle Cirque and leads up past Triangle Lake to Fair Glacier. July 21, 2005.

Thanks, Romek. Apache is one of the coolest peaks in the Indian Peaks Wilderness. A very dramatic place.
