Looking north from Brokeoff

17-December-2006: Looking north from the summit of Brokeoff Mountain. On the horizon are the snowcapped Trinity Alps. The last couple hundred feet above treeline was a dusting of windblown powder over top of a rime ice layer (steel crampons advisable).
