Looking to the northwest from Copeland Mountain one sees, from left to right:
- Mount Alice, whose south slopes gradually descend to the Boulder/Grand Pass, and whose steep east face is mostly clear of snow;
- Powell Peak and McHenrys Peak sepatated by McHenrys Notch, at the center of the picture and in the background;
- Chiefs Head Peak, the large triangular summit right of center, and
- Pagoda Mountain, partially visible at the far right.
In the foreground is Mahana Peak, and immediately behind it is Tanima Peak. Both have a characteristically elongated form. Rocky Mountain National Park. October 2004.
