Looking up at the start of...

Looking up at the start of crux 7th pitch of Silent Running after rappeling down. The hardest part is getting over those 2 overlaps you see. Fortunately both are well protected by a bolt.

That looks mighty hard!

Is that the bolt below the overlaps on the left? If so that's a nice sliding/bouncing fall one is looking at if one messes up the crux overlaps (enough to keep one quite focused :)

There is a bolt halfway up to the overlaps, then on top of each of them, which lets you toprope both hard moves. I was like "Yes, I see a bolt up there!" :-)

A little beta on this section. To get up to the point where you can clip the bolt is pretty challenging. You have to undercling the tips crack at the base and pull hard to stand up enough to reach the bolt. I placed a microcam in the tips crack to protect this, clipped the bolt, then backcleaned the piece on both overlaps. That worked pretty well.
