It is tough to document such a tragedy as you did in such an exemplary manner. Well done. Again, my deepest condolences to all the families and friends of those who died this year on Aconcagua.

Re: Well done for such a tragedy
Hi Alan:
Thank you for your kind words. Unfortunately, Stefan's accident is but one of several that have occurred so far on Aconcagua this year. I hope there are no more to be reported.
Kindest regards,
Brad

sorry about your friend...and thanks for sharing a good report of a terrible thing. Having been in the same place really makes your story hit close to home. Stefan sure exited in a beautiful place. Trust your decisions and climb on.

Re: tough
Hi Chris:
Thanks. Sue and I were disappointed that we didn't get to climb the route when you and Mark made it to the summit that year. I sat at Camp 2 thinking of what a straight a line you guys put up. Here's looking forward to Kili together.

Re: so tragic
Hi andreeacorodeanu:
You words mean a lot and are a great help. Thank you.
My condolences to Stefan's family and to you for what you experienced. None of us ever goes into the mountains with
that kind of an outcome in our minds. Thanks for sharing.
This was the sadest moment in my climbing career and something I hope no one else has to go through. I certainly never though it would ever happen to a partner of mine.
