Scramble up from Lost Pass Date Climbed: Aug 8, 1994
Made the easy scramble up from Lost Pass during a week-long backpacking / trail maintenance trip in the Dosewallips Valley. Think it only took about 30 minutes from Lost Pass. Great view of Mt. Cameron to the north and Anderson to the south.
I enjoyed this climb, because it provided a chance for solitude, exploration and a variety of terrain skills to reach the top. There's an awesome little rock squeeze to go through just below the summit block that was fun. Gorgeous view, amazing animal encounters and an Olympic sunset!
"All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night, in the dusty recesses of their minds, awake in the day to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes to make it reality."
