Only the second lowest

As much as I love Death Valley, it's not quite the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere — just the second lowest. Laguna del Carbón in southern Argentina is the lowest point in both the Southern and Western Hemispheres at approximately 345 feet (105 metres) below sea level.
