You get a great view of MacLeod Peak when on the Swift Creek trail in the Gros Ventres. There is a beautiful trout-filled lake on the other side of the peak in a high cirque.

Gros Ventres

I hiked the Ventres a few years ago and thought they were a great range with tons to offer. Great photos!

The Gros Ventres have almost everything a mountain adventurer could want. Not a pure climbers range, but for wilderness mountaineering, paradise. Lots of animals too, including Griz. I love em.
