| Climbed this with Mike. I am indebted to him for suggesting the route via the lake. My plan was just to hike up Swift Creek and then hike up Corner Peak; instead, we both enjoyed a mountaineering day that stands out as one of my best ever. | |

| July 4 was my fourth time on this amazing summit. I hiked up with fellow SP'er Bob, the first time I had hooked up with an SP'er to ascend a mountain. We continued across the ridge over to Corner Peak, my first time making the fun traverse. The weather finally broke when we were almost back to the trailhead, turning the trail into a creek. It is fun when you can combine the peak with fishing in the lovely MacLeod Lake. | |
