I wasn't sure about Valbruna but forgot to check. (And now I remember you explained the name - brown valley - I'm really getting old!). Should have checked the others, too. Thanks for pointing out!
Malga Rauna is the today's name of this alpine meadow. It comes from the slovenian name Ravna, which means flat (v is pronounced in such cases as u). We call it Ravna planina and this is also on our maps. Don't know how Germans called it - Ebene Alm (?)
