Mama Tungurahua: The Black Giant

Tungurahua, (Quichua tunguri: throat, rahua: fire, "Throat of Fire") is an active stratovolcano located in the Cordillera Central of Ecuador. At the time of my climb she measured in at 5016 meters (16,456 feet). This photo was taken from my hotel room window on the perimeter of Baños.
