~ Velebit / Mid Velebit / Alan~ Man vs Bura (wind) on the shiny polished slopes of Buljma (1451m), near Veliki Alan pass. January 2006. Although surface is concrete hard Bura still manages to take away micro layers and fill the air with ice particles. On the next day temps dropped below -20°C and Bura was reaching 220km/h, which is impossible combination for anyone to bare! Photo: Aleksandar Gospic

We escaped that afternoon Vid, just on time! :-) But it was already becoming hard to remain on the feet. I was knocked down two times with camera in the hand :-) Till we made it to the shore Velebit Channel was already boiling. Can't imagine how it was during next two days in icy hell of Velebit.
