tough little peak
My brother and I talked to a family just before heading up toward the summit. We asked for advice and the father just said "yea, just head straight up until you get to the top". It was not so easy. There were several false paths, drop offs, and very exposed scrambles. This peak is not as simple as it initially seems.
An entertaining scramble down, up and around the SW ridge bluffs and gullies with some exposed spots. Peerless weather and stunning views from the top.
Just under 2 hours one way from the Wheaton Hut. Swim in Marblerock Lake and a snooze meant it took rather longer on the return leg.
