I've slept up there too - unplanned - after V Notch. I've done so many unplanned bivy's in the last 5 years, I decided to get back into big walls so I'll always have my bivy gear with me ( might as well be comfy )!

I think it's pretty funny that Dirk decided to post this pic in the "Camping" section of the page. Yeah, I guess you could call it "camping"... :-)

I want to sign up! Knowledge is power, and in this situation, maybe you can teach me how not to freeze to death!

Late starts & unplanned approach variations that are difficult to find in the dark are great ways to set up unplanned bivies- practice & enjoy!

HOpe you had fun, & didn't have to bivy! Tried sending you a message (didn't see this beforehand) about climbing- did you get it?

Shoot me an email a few days beforehand, & I'll give you the skinny. I don't think they've decided on the location yet, but it's usually in the City (2nd-most likely location would probably be Oaktown).
