Martian One-Eared Rabbit

Watch out for these blighters. Recent reports have shown an increasing number of attacks on humans by groups of these rabbits due to scarce natural food sources as the drought continues. Hard to see at a distance due to their ability to blend into their surroundings, they appear to surround their prey before moving in for the kill. Being a protected species however their numbers continue to increase unabated putting the main routes on the mountain off limits for all but the most adventurous.
