Matterhorn from Point 9224

Looking up at the rest of the route and the Matterhorn from Point 9224 from the Snowslide Gulch route. Keep following this ridge until it opens up and you will find a faint trail heading towards the Matterhorn. Matterhorn is exactly 1 mile as the crow flies and 1600 feet up. You lose about 50 feet of elevation when going over this bump. 8/15/2010
