I thought that Polish people are the "spartans" of the mountains, and your adventure fully confirms this impression. Your climb is of enormous value, much higher than a successful summit in summer following the owercrowded Hornligrat. Congratulations for your performance and above all, for coming back alive and in (relatively) good condition.
Thanks for the kind comment. We are waithing for the second chance.
You are right - "Polish climbing school" is about suffering. But there are "spartans of the mountains" everywhere and many of them have fantastic stories to tell.
dramatic stories occuring in the mountains I've read in the last times. Perfect narrative, splendid pictures, excellent English. Matterhorn was creatively inspiring even in such dangerous circumstances. My sincere congratulations, Andrej
Thank you very much, Andrej!
We realized that it was little bit dramatic after the descent. During the climb we just knew that we have task to complete: come back home, safe.
Pictures: Radek is a great photographer- I didn't take a single picture beacuse I cannot manage with his complicated camera.
English- all the credits goes to Lolli- we gave her text and she corrected many mistakes that we've done.
Beeing stuck in a hut was not so bad in comparison to descending. Solvay Hut was cold but safe.
Thanks for good words. It is definitely a climb to remamber.
Dzieki Kamil!
The first anniversary of our climb is getting closer so we are going to meet and drink a couple of....coffee cups....;)
Thank you very much for all nice words.
Pozdrawiam rowniez.

EpicQuite an experience. A very interesting report. I will never again complain about being stuck in a hut for a couple of days.
