On Jan 2-3, 2014 Dennis Poulin and I drove up Bendire Canyon. We did not encounter this blockade. In fact, we saw no signs, posts, gates, etc to either indicate or block at either the wilderness area border, nor the military base border.
We easily drove just shy of the dry waterfall on the Bendire Canyon Road without seeing any legal obstruction to do so. Recent tire tracks indicated we were not alone
