 Williams Lake...

May 22, 2003. Williams Lake...

Williams Lake at 11,000 feet. This is a unique lake, since it has no outlet. It's a depression in the landscape. Point 12, 819 makes up the backdrop.

We made a minor mistake by not traversing higher up. We had to traverse the steep snowfield that hugs the left side of the lake, plus there was some minor rock scrambling. I recommend everyone who descends this route not to go this low. Traverse higher up.
