| I used to go on business trips in Roanoke. I would drive up to Catawba early in the morning, run up to McAfee Knob in the dark, and watch the sunrise before the return. Climb #2 on 3/17/09 | ||

| Finally took the time to make it Catawba. We started out early and got to avoid most of the crowd. It is definitely worthy of it's reputation. The boulder formations near the summit were very enticing | |
