Visual Praise for Open Mountain Spaces

While the objective of a climber is likely the adjacent mountains, meadows, mesas and balds can also provide great vistas to truly appreciate the magnificence of the surrounding scenery. Their contribution to the color and character of the mountains is the wide-open spaces necessary for flora and fauna to florish. And they provide a respite from the relentless pursuit of the world's high places. Please feel free to attach your images of meadows, mesas and balds.
