Meany Crest Route

The summit of Meany Crest is at 7,553ft. Many maps mis-label a lower point as Meany Crest. The upper location is at the very base of the Fryingpan Glacier. It is a broad flat 'field' of sandy gravel and a few larger rocks with many established bivy sites. The lower point which is mis-labeled is more difficult to access, and would be useless as a basecamp for ascending the glacier.
