Wow! That was quick! You've got a lot of nice images to work with here--also junk photos (the page IMO is in need of editing, I'm assuming one of the reasons it went up for adoption) which you can now deal with as you see fit. (FYI - under the new SP guidelines you, as maintainer, can write any of the elves with a request to remove images you don't want on the page, and they'll do it).
Unless they put the scene into some kind of scale, or unless it has to do with a climbing situation or move, I don't like people in mountain photos, but what you did in creating a "Hero Section" on the Browns page is a good solution. It doesn't pretend to be anything but what it is, and I can ignore it if I choose. (This paragraph--obviously--is nothing more than my opinion....)
Anyway, I'm not waiting to up my vote; good luck with the page. It's a nice area and deserves good representation!
