Two days after I climbed the Matterhorn I followed a path above Zermatt that led toward Gornergrat. Suddenly a scene I had seen in a magazine ad loomed in front of me. A fellow hiker came along and offered to take my picture with my Leica C-3. This picture duplicated the picture I had seen in the magazine ad only with me in it. This same picture in poster size hangs on the wall of my study.
