This picture was taken looking NW from the "summit" of Mesa (11009') which is a small bump located in the eastern Uintas, south of Wooley Peak. I'm guessing that it deserved naming because unlike most small bumps this one stands out from a distance. It appears as a light colored mound in a sea of green and is easily distinguished for miles around. The three reddish peaks on the right are from L to R, Clover BM (12335'), Penny Nickle Peak (12127'), and Cleve BM (12514'). July-9-2012
