On pitch 5 of the Direkte Nordwand of the Bernadeinwand. This little peak is dwarfed by the Alpspitze, but offers an enjoyable 5.8 10 pitch rock climb to the summit.

Voted 10/10 | hope your season on the old continent is going well Michael....you're not missing much in terms of N. Cascades this (worst I've seen) season. Weather has been sucking on many weekends here :(

Hasn't voted | Yes, just about to go for a week in the Dolomites...I'm going crazy worrying about the weather - I can't concentrate on work!
The problem is that the alps still seem kind of "monolithic" to me...I don't know the secret places to run to in rain. Grr...
