Camping, rooms, dormitories LakeViews (on the border of the Plav lake, and well indicated at the entrance of Plav) in Plav Montenegro is the perfect 'base' camp for hiking, biking, sports-climbing, rafting and kayaking the river Lim. LakeViews is extreme sports and motorcycle friendly.

Getting There

Plav is preferably reached by car from the North via Belgrade.

From the North West, Split(Croatia), Dubrovnic, Cetinje, Podgoriza, Kolasin, Berane.

Flights enter Podgoriza, buses take you the rest of traject. (40 EURO)

Flights enter Belgrade and buses (20 EURO per person) take you the rest of traject. Seven hours to be counted.

Trains between Belgrado and Podgoriza connect with the rest of Europe.

Buses do Maastricht (Netherlands) to Belgrade.

Red Tape

Border issues are long gone. The war is history in Montenegro, so hikers and climbers will not encounter corruption and hostility from local law and order. Montenegro and Albania are perfectly smooth and friendly. No aggressiveness to be expected.

Camping

Few possibilities to rooms and camping close to Procletije. LakeViews on border of Plav lake, at entrance of Plav town is one of them. They are catering to people threading lesser known paths. They can orient climbers and hikers to the abounding routes swarming up Procletije.
