Mine Field

One the mine fields in the Cordillera Occidental on the Chilean side, near the Bolivian border. Here taken between Calama and San Pedro de Atacama. Mine fields are an issue for - ascents on the south side of Licacabur (that is the reason why all ascents take place from the Bolivian side) - West side of Cerro Palpana and all around the Salar de Ascotan - North side Cerro Paniri Mine fields are also in various places of the Puna.
