| Hiked Missouri's west ridge, not to bad once you get into the actual gulch. The swithcbacks were a little tough, but once we made it to the base of Missouri it wasn't to bad. We also did Belford and Oxford on the same day. Lots of miles and elevation, we started at 3:40am and finished around 2pm, so you definately want to get an early start to hit all three summits. | |

| I got started around 7 AM and reached the summit around 10:45. The weather was pretty crummy: mostly cloudy and rainy on the way back. For most of the day the mountain was shrouded in fog...and in mystery, but fortunately the Missouri Mountain Trail is well constructed any easy to follow all the way to the top. As if on cue, the fog lifted somewhat once I reached the summit, so we had a decent view of the surrounding mountains. There were a few marmots running around in the upper reaches of Missouri Gulch. Missouri doesn't seem as difficult as the Belford/Oxford combo that I did almost a year ago. | |

| Windy? Don't go up to the ridge too soon like I did! I spent a long time up there; brrr. The wind blew me flat twice and blew my pack off the ridge and down the C Couloir. Fortunately I had already made plans to glissade down; my pursuit was successful. | |
