Lewis County highpoint?

I must say that I wish Old Snowy were indeed the highest point in Lewis County - it would have been my first county highpoint in 1958 at age 11 if it were true. Unfortunately, however, the highpoint of Lewis County is a spire near Curtis Gilbert and Goat Citadel nicknamed "Big Horn", which is astride the county line with Yakima County. Beckey shows Big Horn as 7,960+ feet, but closer scrutiny has now placed it at 8,000+. Old Snowy is apparently even lower than the 7,940-foot Ives Peak. I climbed Big Horn on Friday, Sept. 26, 2003 just for the purpose of bagging the highpoint of Lewis County. My GPS stayed between about 8,030 and 8,036 feet while I was on top of Big Horn, and it stayed at around 100 feet lower on Old Snowy the next day. Incidentally, Big Horn is the higher of the two narrow spires just left of your head in the photo. :-)
