Mont de l'Etoile (3370m)

From nearby Pointe de Vouasson (3490m) you can look down on Mont de l'Etoile (3370m). If you look closely, you can see that it has two summits right next to eachother. On the right is the SW summit, and the bright, sunlit SW ridge provides an easy way up there. It's not the true summit though; that's the NE summit, just a bit further left, looking rather dark. There is a huge cairn on top, which is just about visible if you know where to look. The peak on the right, far behind and much higher as well, is Weisshorn (4505m). 10 March 2014.
