Normal route  Sucess!

Normal route, normal (bad) weather this summer... skipped more advanced goals and walked up the Gioberney in almost winter conditions: Below zero temps even at the hut.

The hike towards the hut is very beautiful and therefore recommend for a day hike -- one can do a rewarding roundtrip on both sides of the valley.

NE Ridge (52b)  Sucess!

Our large party of 11 (3 ropeteams) did the North East Ridge route (PD) up, and the Normal route (NE Flank (F)) down. It's an easy scramble/snow climb, with one pitch of III or IV (loose) rock, near the top. From there it's about a minute or two to the top. Great views from the top.
