| Fascinating start of the trail through black lava fields. After crossing the base of Montaña del Cedro the asent started to its north. Difficult to find - without the help of our "green spot painter" we would have had serious problems. In fact after we overtook him we had.... Great Teide and Pico Viejo views from the summit. La Gomera was visible, but barely due to some mist. The descent ended in some chimneys since we had lost our way. The chimneys luckily were narrow enough to be climbed down more or less easily. | |
