Excellent as always. Very nice photo of the insect in mid-flight.

Another excellent example of Gangolf's style.

The photos of this page made me (hardly)remember when in 1966, during a school trip, we went inside the crater of Vesuvio...Didn't I give you a good idea? (Let's hope pippo52 will not read this comment ;-)) )

Thanks Livio, also for the suggestion. But Napoli is too far to the south ....

How do you manage to climb this much Gangolf!!???

It takes quite a bit of scrolling down to get thru. all of your submission listings on your profile page.

Should ask Paul Klenke the same question...

Well, with La Palma it was easy - the summits are close to each other, especially the important ones. You can climb several of them on one day. In the Carnic Alps and on Sardinia it was perfect weather - and we don't do anything else but hike and climb during our vacations. Up at six, a little drive and at the trailhead at 8, 1000m - 1600m elevation difference per day. You get around that way ;-)

Oh yes - and no fooling around with ropes and stuff that could slow us down. We rather take the risks - which is dumb but we probably would end up doing that anyway. But then - we do only the easy stuff - at least we plan to....
